I didn't have any when I was younger, I might have missed some of those vital years.
[ After all, for a while it had only been him and Carlisle, then Esme as well, then Rosalie as well before Emmett was brought to the fold by her. ]
I was an only child for a long while.
I imagine the sentiment is the same even amongst nieces and nephews.
