[ you could spot lance in a crowd of thousands, tbh, if only because of the sheer palpable excitement and nerves radiating right off him. he's the one bouncing on his toes, looking this way and that, and while the street itself isn't particularly busy, he's still having to bounce from person to person till he finds her, waiting for him at the end of the street.

his face lights up, and hastily he runs a hand through his hair to try and smooth it over even though it's cut short enough it doesn't really make a difference. he's in his full paladin armor too, because... because it's one of his only outfits and also he thought it'd be more impressive?!
