Is it just me or are things starting to get a little unpleasant around here?

[She sighs out some. Not that she hadn't expected Olympia and Wyver to start not getting along again of course but it's still pretty annoying.]

I've been outright ignored in a few places in Olympia. Don't ask me exactly what I did to get that kind of treatment because I don't have a clue.

[Now to the meat of why she's drifted onto the network after having not touched it for this long. Her tone actually sounds pretty curious.]

Have any of the rest of you run into anything? Olympia, Wyver, wherever.

Ignore them in return in that case.

Don't offer them respect if they don't show you any. But, that said, it isn't odd for two nations to not get along with each other.

That's good advice. It hasn't really bothered me but hey, I figured it would be good to see if it was happening to everyone.

It's not that unusual but... well, it would sort of be nice for once if they did. At least in my opinion.

[She's so used to nations not getting along. And then just when things were tentatively getting better at home, it sort of stopped existing altogether. If the Natha were to be believed.]

It will at least give them a taste of their own medicine because they might get joy out of treating you poorly.

[ that's just her guess though. ]

I'm sure that it would be. Maybe one day they will get along.

People are so strange. Where's the fun in being mean to others. It's just more work to do and who wants to do more work for people you don't like.

[Maybe a tiny bit of hypocrisy there. She hasn't always been known for being nice to others after all. She's never exactly been mean though, just blunt and grumpy.]

Unfortunately, I can not give you an answer to that, it's not one that I've experienced nor have I been given any data on it.

[ shrugs. she's right about it being more work though. ]

I don't think anyone can give an answer to it. It's just one of those things.

You think so? I imagined that at least someone could, but that's a shame.

I guess. There's a lot about human nature you'll never find a good answer for.

I suppose that's why they say humans are 'complex'.

It's no wonder two groups aren't able to get along in that case. A shame.

It is, considering all the other mess they don't know about out there beyond their planet.

You're talking about the storm, correct? I don't think they have anything to worry about when it comes to it. Or at least, not yet.

Not yet being the key phrase here. Then again they don't know about it so it isn't even a factor to them. No one thinks about their world seriously ending.

[Or she never had anyhow.]

To be able to live freely without the worry that there's a time limit on your world ... or your life. How lucky.

[ because not everyone was able to, y'know, outrun the storm so to speak. ]

No kidding. It's certainly not something any of us will be able to go back to anyhow.

Many are able to call this place home at least, or if they feel comfortable enough to do so. I believe there is still a handful that thinks we've been lied to, too.

I've never had a home so I don't care enough to call anything that.

[Mai doesn't seem very surprised, at least by the sound of her voice.]

Fair enough. I don't really think I could ever get around to calling anywhere on this planet 'home'. A nice enough place to live maybe but home is entirely different.

What makes a place 'home' for you?

People.

People in general, or the ones in your life?

[maipokerface]

The people in my life. Friends, family, loved ones - those kinds of people.

[atwo]

The ones you have a relation too. That makes sense.

[maipokerface]

Yeah. That's why whatever this place may be, it'll never be home.

[atwo]

If they were to awaken here, would you then call it 'home'? Because those you care about will be awake and well, despite your world is gone.
