Hello, everyone.
[ a little wave from a man who's smiling happily enough - a bit subdued, perhaps, but that's to be expected given the subject matter. ]
It's been a tough month, eh? I just wanted to say a huge well done to those of you who fought for a cure - it's extraordinary that you were able to create one in the time you did from entirely foreign components. I'm glad that our hosts are recognising the effort.
Everyone else, well done to you, too. Whatever you were doing, this has been a stressful situation and you made it out the other side, and that's worth a pat on the back if you ask me.
[ patron... ising??? it doesn't look like he's trying to be, voice soft and warm and earnest. what's visible of the background seems to be cool, stark metal: a glimpse of a glass window bathed in a glow of light coming from within. the ship. stasis chamber. ]
Off the back of that, if anyone fancies, I'll be offering free hugs for the rest of the month. Courtesy of me, while stocks last. Just give me a ring, I'll come and find you.
—Yeah, that's it. ... See you, then.
[ and, with a tiny salute, he's out. ]

I'll keep an eye out for you, then, Diana. Putting your name on my to hug list.
[ nothing quite like throwing a username out into the world with total confidence because it's probably your name ]

Likewise, then, though I am uncertain how to pronounce your name.
( so the username = a given name thing doesn't work all the time, clearly, thanks a lot doc!! Bowtiesare Supercool would be an interesting name, though. )

( while she's used to doctor being a profession and not a name, she can run with that. and she will take his word on the bowtie thing, since, )
I have never witnessed this bow tie, but I will trust you.

[ a wiggle of the bowtie sitting around his neck!!! look at this beautiful thing ]
Like a regular tie except you tie it in a bow. And it's made completely differently to accommodate that. But, you know, aside from that, it's exactly like a regular tie. If that helps.

How charming. I have seen these bow ties before, I confess, though the men that wore them were far more stuffy. I like the print of yours better. I am glad to know what these articles are called.

the Doctor lights up like it's Christmas. this is the best, most wonderful thing that could have happened. a spontaneous tie compliment. amen. ]
I'm glad to tell you what these articles are called! I've got lots, I can send you pictures if you like. When I switch them out. The daily tie.

Would you? How delightful! I should like to see them. What is the favorite print that you have?
